Israeli security and government sources: We will not declare our responsibility for the attack on Iran for “strategic reasons.”

FALCONPOWERS – According to Israeli security and government sources cited by the Jerusalem Post, Israel will not officially claim responsibility for the attack on Iran for “strategic reasons.” The sources stated, “An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth. However, Israel will not officially take responsibility for this attack for strategic reasons,” considering that Iranians claim it was an “explosion in a factory as they want to avoid escalation.”

The sources pointed out that it is unclear why the Pentagon revealed Israel’s involvement to the U.S. media, stating that they could have remained silent and preserved Iran’s dignity, avoiding a situation of escalation.

The newspaper reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, along with the entire security and diplomatic leadership, was present at the Kirya base in Tel Aviv for 24 hours to coordinate with regional partners in Jordan, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia.

They added, “In the past few hours, regional countries have sent messages to Israel stating that if it attacks Iran, they are here to assist.”

Media reports had indicated hearing explosions near the Isfahan airport and the Hamedan Shahid Nojeh Air Base in Iran, while a U.S. official confirmed the “start of the Israeli attack on Iran,” stating that “Israel informed the United States in advance of the strike.”

A report by Bloomberg stated that Israeli officials informed the United States on Thursday that they intended to launch a strike in the next 24 to 48 hours.

The Iranian Supreme National Security Council confirmed that the country had not been subjected to any external missile attack.

The announcement of the attack coincided with demonstrations in Isfahan, and there were reports of another attack in Syria.

The spokesperson for the Israeli army stated that there is currently no change in the instructions regarding the home front.
