Israeli Soldier Burns Quran and Mosque in Gaza

FALCON POWERS – Palestinian activists on social media have circulated a video showing an Israeli occupation soldier burning a copy of the Quran inside a mosque in the Gaza Strip.

The account “tamerqdh” posted the video on the “X” platform, writing: “From inside a mosque in the Gaza Strip, a terrorist Israeli soldier from the Givati Brigade posted a video on his Instagram account while burning the Quran and the mosque.” Tamer asked, “With these [people], do the Arabs and Muslims want normalization?”

Journalist Yunis Tiraawi, known for monitoring the accounts of Israeli soldiers and military personnel, confirmed the authenticity of the video.

He wrote on his “X” account on Tuesday: “I have independently reviewed and verified the video after communicating with my colleague Tamer.”

He added that “the video is from an Israeli soldier in the Rotem 435 battalion of the Givati Brigade,” noting that “the incident occurred in eastern Rafah.”

Accounts of Israeli media outlets via Telegram also indicated that the soldier posted the video on his personal Instagram account “while burning the Quran and the mosque.”
