Italy: “Unacceptable” to Equate Israel with Hamas in Seeking Arrest Warrants

FALCON POWERS – On Monday, Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani said that equating the Israeli government with Hamas is “unacceptable,” in his first comments on the International Criminal Court Prosecutor’s request for arrest warrants against leaders of Israel and Hamas.

He added in television remarks, “It seems really strange to me, and I would say unacceptable, to equate a legitimately elected government in a democratic state with a terrorist organization that is the cause of everything happening in the Middle East.”
