Joint Force in Darfur: No Neutrality Anymore… We Will Fight with the Army



Falconpowers – The Joint Force in the Darfur region announced on Thursday that it is stepping out of neutrality and will fight alongside the army against the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) “wherever they are found.”

The Joint Force, consisting of armed movements in Darfur formed to protect civilians in the region following the conflict between the army and the RSF, stated in a statement addressed to the armed struggle movements, “There is no neutrality anymore, and we will fight alongside our allies, nationalists, and armed forces against the Rapid Support Forces and their mercenaries.”

The statement also emphasized that the Joint Force will not wait to be on the defensive, but rather, “the best means of defense is the offense.”
