Falcon powers – According to John Kirby, the Strategic Communications Coordinator at the White House National Security Council, President Joe Biden does not want to be responsible for starting a Third World War through Washington’s support for Kyiv.
In an interview with ABC News on Sunday, Kirby, commenting on the matter, said: “We’ve been concerned about escalation since the beginning of the war and the Ukrainian conflict, and that concern remains.”
He added: “The President says he doesn’t want to be responsible for starting World War III, by virtue of supporting Kyiv in the Ukrainian conflict.”
Kirby indicated that “the United States is not seeking a conflict with Russia or any other nuclear power.”
Earlier, sources had revealed to Politico how U.S. President Joe Biden made the decision to allow Ukrainian forces to use American weapons against targets within Russian territory.
Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin, in his remarks on the Western proposals to allow Kyiv to carry out strikes on Russian territory, stated that NATO countries must understand what or what they are playing with.
Additionally, Russian Permanent Representative to the OSCE Maxim Buyakevich explained that Russia will respond appropriately to all threats.
