Launch of the Special Meeting of the World Economic Forum in Riyadh

FALCON POWERS – The special meeting of the World Economic Forum, titled “International Cooperation, Growth, and Energy for Development,” commenced today, Sunday, in the Saudi Arabian capital, Riyadh. Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas participated in the event.

The President arrived in Riyadh yesterday, Saturday, to attend the special meeting of the World Economic Forum, upon the invitation of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, who is the Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia.

During his participation in the meeting, the President is scheduled to meet with several heads of state, leaders, and policymakers invited from various countries around the world.

The special meeting of the World Economic Forum is taking place in Riyadh from April 28 to 29, and it addresses a number of international topics and issues of interest, aiming to discuss global cooperation and achieve sustainable economic growth.

The meeting includes several dialogues and discussion sessions aimed at enhancing international cooperation efforts and stimulating joint efforts to innovate sustainable solutions. The sessions of the special meeting revolve around several important topics, including international cooperation, growth, and energy for development. This is to address various current economic and geopolitical challenges, as well as to strengthen new partnerships.

On the sidelines of the forum, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is hosting a series of exhibitions and side events to shed light on the latest trends and developments in various important topics, including sustainability, innovation, and culture.

These accompanying events and exhibitions will highlight the unprecedented historical transformation and significant economic growth witnessed by the Kingdom, under the Saudi Vision 2030 and its ambitious projects aimed at achieving comprehensive economic transformation and enhancing the Kingdom’s position as a global investment destination.
