Lieberman: The Netanyahu Government Has No Ability to Deal with Hezbollah

FALCON POWERS – Avigdor Lieberman, the leader of the “Israel Beiteinu” party, said on Friday that the challenges in northern Israel exceed the capabilities of the current government of Benjamin Netanyahu, considering that this government does not deserve to remain in power.

Lieberman, who previously held the positions of Foreign Minister and Defense Minister in Israel, considered that the launch of hundreds of rockets and drones on the north is evidence of the government’s inability to deal with Hezbollah.

The Israeli Army Radio reported in the morning that the air surveillance base on Mount Meron was hit by an anti-tank missile fired from southern Lebanon, but the radio confirmed that the hit did not affect the operation of the air systems at the base.

Hezbollah issued a statement in which it announced that it “targeted the espionage equipment at the headquarters of the Air Surveillance and Air Operations Management Unit at the Meron base with appropriate weapons and directly hit it, which led to its destruction.”

The Israeli army had announced in the morning that it had intercepted 5 rockets fired from Lebanon, while the rockets caused fires in the Upper Galilee.

In this regard, the Israeli Walla website revealed that 1,091 rockets were launched from Lebanon towards Israel last month, an increase of 3 times compared to the beginning of the year.

The Israeli site confirmed the death of 44 people in the confrontation with Lebanon, including 24 civilians and 19 officers, soldiers and one foreign worker, and the injury of 271 Israelis, including 141 soldiers and officers in the army since the beginning of the confrontation with Hezbollah.
