Massive Fire Engulfs a Major Shopping Center in Warsaw

Falcon powers – A massive fire broke out in a shopping center in the Polish capital, and firefighting vehicles arrived at the scene, with around 200 firefighters participating in extinguishing the fire.
The fire completely consumed the Moryńska Market, which houses approximately 1,400 shops and stalls, mostly selling clothing. The market is primarily operated by traders from China and Vietnam, many of whom have lost their merchandise entirely.

The fire did not cause any casualties, but Polish authorities advised residents not to leave their homes as a large cloud of black smoke resulted from the fire.
The market is owned by the construction company Mirbud, which is listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange.

Usually, shopping centers and large stores close their doors on Sundays due to the commercial ban imposed by the previous government, which had close ties to the Catholic Church, as it is considered a day of worship.
