Moscow Prepares to Respond to London’s Actions

Falcon powers – Maria Zakharova, the spokesperson for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has stated that Moscow will respond appropriately to the expulsion of the Russian military attaché from London. The UK’s Home Office had announced the expulsion of the Russian military attaché from the country.

Speaking in the British Parliament, Home Secretary James Cleverly said, “We will expel the Russian military attaché because he is an employee of the Russian military intelligence.”

He added, “We will downgrade the diplomatic status of several Russian-owned properties in the United Kingdom, including Sycamore House in Sussex, as well as the trade mission and the military attaché’s office in Highgate in London, which we believe have been used for intelligence purposes.” The ministry has also imposed new restrictions on Russians obtaining diplomatic visas, according to Reuters.
