FALCON POWERS – The Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson has dismissed the accusations made by former Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Nancy Pelosi, who claimed that President Putin was behind the pro-Palestinian protests in the United States, calling it an “insult to Americans and democracy.” Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova wrote, “This statement can only be considered an insult to Americans and democracy.”
In recent days, several American universities have turned into protest arenas against the Israeli airstrikes on Gaza and US aid to Tel Aviv, particularly following the United States’ approval of a new package of aid to Israel.
Pelosi had previously accused Russian President Vladimir Putin of being behind these protests.
