Nasdaq and S&P 500 Open at Record Highs on Wall Street

FALCON POWERS – The main stock indexes on Wall Street opened higher on Monday, with the Nasdaq Composite and the S&P 500 indexes reaching new record levels during the session, as investors look forward to a busy week of inflation readings and the start of the corporate earnings season.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 233 points, or 0.59%. The S&P 500 index advanced 10.25 points, or 0.18%. The Nasdaq Composite index gained 7.25 points, or 0.04%.
