FALCON POWERS – Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu commented on the shooting incident, stating, “Israel is surrounded by a deadly ideology led by Iran.”
Netanyahu made these remarks during the opening of his government’s weekly session, emphasizing that his government is determined to achieve “absolute victory” in its ongoing war in Gaza, which has lasted nearly 12 months. He noted, “Without a sword, life in the Middle East is impossible,” in response to a question about whether the “war is eternal.”
He described the situation as “difficult,” adding, “We are surrounded by a deadly ideology led by the Iranian axis of evil.”
Netanyahu further stated, “What prevents the extermination of our people, as in previous days, is the strength of Israel and the strength of the Israeli army.”
He continued, “Last weekend, the German newspaper ‘Bild’ published an official document from Hamas revealing their plan: to sow discord among us, conduct psychological warfare on the families of the captives, exert internal and external political pressure on the Israeli government, tear us apart from within, and continue the war indefinitely until Israel is defeated.”
He asserted that “the vast majority of Israelis do not fall into Hamas’s trap. They know we are committed to doing everything we can to achieve the war’s objectives: to eliminate Hamas, secure the return of all captives, ensure that Gaza no longer poses a threat to Israel, and safely return our residents in the north and south to their homes.”
He concluded his remarks by asking, “There are those who ask: ‘Is there a way out?'” and added, “In the Middle East, without a sword, there is no eternity.”
