“Posed a Threat to Ships”… U.S. Military Destroys Houthi Radar

FALCON POWERS – The U.S. military announced on Tuesday the destruction of a radar site belonging to the Houthi group, as part of the defensive strikes led by the United States to protect navigation in the eighth month of the Iran-aligned group’s escalation.

The U.S. Central Command stated in a statement that its forces succeeded in destroying a Houthi radar site in an area controlled by the group, without mentioning the name of the targeted area.

According to the statement, the radar site was found to pose an imminent threat to the United States, Coalition forces, and commercial vessels in the region, and its destruction was carried out to protect the freedom of navigation and make international waters safer.
