Reports: The German Army Has Developed a Plan to Transfer NATO Forces to the East in Case of Emergency

FALCON POWERS – According to German media reports on Saturday, the German Army has developed a secret emergency plan that includes the transfer of NATO forces from the West to the East across German territory.

The German newspapers Bild and Der Spiegel cited documents and statements indicating that one of the main tasks of the emergency plan will be to ensure the deployment of thousands of Alliance soldiers in the East and ensure the supply of forces.

This comes at a time when German officials, including Defense Minister Boris Pistorius, are speculating that a conflict between Russia and NATO may occur by 2029. On Thursday, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that the Pentagon’s plans to deploy long-range missiles in Germany aim to undermine Russia’s security, according to the TASS news agency.

Earlier, the Pentagon said the United States will begin in 2026 to deploy long-range offensive systems in Germany that will significantly surpass the weapons currently in Europe.

On the sidelines of the 10th Parliamentary Forum of the BRICS group, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov pointed out that the Pentagon’s plans to deploy long-range missiles in Germany are aimed at undermining Russia’s security.

Ryabkov told reporters in response to a question on this matter: “These measures are primarily aimed at undermining the security of our country,” adding that Russia will develop a military response to the threat regarding the Pentagon’s plans, saying: “Without nervous actions and emotions, we will, first and foremost, develop a military response to the new threat.”
