FALCON POWERS – A program broadcast on Russian state television discussed the possibility of Moscow launching an attack on two NATO member states. Vladimir Solovyov, a prominent figure in Kremlin-backed media, made these threatening comments on Russia 1 channel.
A video of Solovyov’s remarks was shared on the “X” platform by Anton Herashchenko, a former advisor to the Ukrainian Minister of Internal Affairs. Herashchenko wrote a accompanying comment to the video, stating, “Beware, France and Poland! Russian propagandists are threatening to launch attacks.”
Solovyov specifically identified France as a “potential target,” stating, “We must calmly say that if France deploys forces (in Ukraine), we will destroy French territory.” French President Emmanuel Macron had previously affirmed that there are no “limits” to Paris’s support for Kyiv, emphasizing that nothing should be ruled out when it comes to providing assistance to Ukraine, hinting at the possibility of deploying French troops there.
Solovyov also suggested striking Poland, following Polish President Andrzej Duda’s announcement that Poland would be willing to host nuclear weapons belonging to other NATO members in response to Russia’s transfer of weapons to Belarus.
Solovyov stated, “We will strike Polish territory, sink ships carrying Bradley military vehicles, and destroy storage facilities. If we learn that these weapons are aimed at Russia, Poland will become a legitimate target. Russia’s response must be fierce.”
