Settler killed and another injured in a shooting attack in the northern West Bank Jordan Valley

FALCON POWERS – A settler was killed and another was injured, on Sunday, August 11, 2024, in a shooting attack on their vehicle in the northern Jordan Valley in the occupied West Bank, with the perpetrator fleeing the scene.

Hebrew media outlets reported that a settler was killed and another was moderately injured in a shooting attack targeting a vehicle at the “Machpelah” junction on Road 90 in the Jordan Valley.

The Magen David Adom (Red Star of David) confirmed that the wounded person succumbed to his critical injuries in the shooting attack in the Jordan Valley.

The Hebrew page “Doron Kadosh” indicated that the shooters’ vehicle fled the scene, and the Israeli occupation army launched a manhunt for them.

For its part, the Hebrew Channel 14 said that the resistance fighters carried out the shooting attack in two locations near Tubas, resulting in the killing of a settler and the moderate injury of another.

The Israeli occupation army closed all the military checkpoints surrounding the Tubas governorate and the site of the shooting attack, in addition to deploying additional military reinforcements to the site of the attack.
