Amidst the ongoing massacre of Palestinian civilians, accompanied by a disturbing silence from the international community and a lack of effective political intervention, a Palestinian individual described to “Falcon Powers” newspaper that the Gaza Strip has become unsuitable for any purpose – neither for decent living nor for a normal life. Instead, it is now considered one of the prime locations worldwide for producing American horror films.
It is reported that what it lacks is actors who manipulate the media through their movies and visual manipulation. Indeed, producers can greatly benefit from the images of scattered bodies in the streets of Gaza City, the destroyed buildings, and Israeli tanks surrounding residential neighborhoods.
Sami Abu Jarad 12-year-old , whose family was killed, is now accompanied by his 8-year-old sister, Maram. They tell the newspaper correspondent that life here in Rafah would be very beautiful if only they could find delicious food. Maram says she now dreams of appetizing dishes in her sleep.
