The Israeli army confirms the assassination of Muhammad al-Deif, the military commander of Hamas

FALCON POWERS – The Israeli army confirmed the martyrdom of the military commander of Hamas in the Gaza Strip, based on the army’s intelligence confirmations and the Israeli General Security Service.

The statement of the Israeli army said that “the Israel Defense Forces and the General Security Service eliminated the one called Muhammad al-Deif.”

The statement indicated that “the fighter jets accurately attacked the complex in which both Muhammad al-Deif and Rafat Salameh, the commander of the Khan Yunis brigade in Hamas, were hiding, and it was confirmed that Salameh was eliminated a few weeks ago. Along with Al-Deif and Salameh, a number of other saboteurs were eliminated.”

The Israeli army had announced on July 13 that Muhammad al-Deif, the commander of the military wing of Hamas, and Rafat Salameh, the commander of the “Khan Yunis Brigade” of the movement, were the targets of the air strike that was carried out on the outskirts of Khan Yunis, which resulted in the deaths and injuries of hundreds.

For its part, Hamas denied what it called the “claims and lies” of the Israeli army regarding Al-Deif’s death, stressing that he is listening to the Israeli prime minister and mocking his false statements.
