FALCON POWERS – The Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, announced on Monday that they carried out, in cooperation with the Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Islamic Jihad movement, the “martyrdom operation” that occurred on Sunday evening in the city of Tel Aviv.
The Qassam Brigades, in a post published by the Palestinian Press Agency (SAFA) on the X platform, confirmed that “the martyrdom operations inside the occupied interior will return to the fore as long as the occupation’s massacres and the displacement of civilians continue, and the policy of assassinations persists.” The Israeli police had said they were investigating a deadly explosion in Tel Aviv, which they believe was linked to a suspected terrorist attack.
The police added that an explosive device exploded in a backpack of a person on Sunday evening as he was walking in one of the streets in the southern part of the city. The person carrying the bomb was killed, and one of the passersby, who was riding an electric bicycle, was injured.
