Falconpowers – The Ukrainian Air Force and officials have stated today that Russia targeted southern Ukraine with seventeen attack drones and several missiles, while Ukrainian defenses shot down fourteen drones and two guided missiles.
Ukrainian Air Force Commander Mykola Oleishchuk, through the Telegram app, mentioned that Russia also launched two cruise missiles of the Iskander-K type and a ballistic missile of the Iskander-M type, but he did not specify their fate.
He added that two KH-59 missiles launched by Russia towards the port of Odessa on the Black Sea were destroyed.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces Southern Command, on Telegram, stated that twelve drones were shot down over Mykolaiv and two over Odessa.
The infrastructure of the power sector in Mykolaiv suffered damage due to the attack, leading to a power outage for several hours. The military reported no casualties from the attacks.
Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced today that its air defense systems shot down five Ukrainian drones over the Bryansk region last night.
The ministry’s statement read, “During the night of April 10, another attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack with drones on facilities in Russian territory was thwarted, and the air defense systems on duty destroyed five Ukrainian drones over the territory of the Bryansk region.”
