UAE Reveals Water Contamination-Related Infections Following Floods

FALCON POWERS – The UAE Ministry of Health has stated in a statement that a limited number of individuals have exhibited symptoms associated with water contamination following recent floods in the country.

The statement, released by the official news agency late on Wednesday, did not specify the number of affected individuals or provide details of their treatment. The ministry’s statement mentioned that there were “a very limited number of cases that showed symptoms related to exposure to contaminated water, and necessary treatment was provided to ensure their safety and discharge from the hospital.”

The statement did not disclose the substances that contaminated the water.

The UAE experienced unprecedented floods on April 16th, resulting in disruptions to life in several areas. The heavy floods submerged neighborhoods in Dubai, northern cities, and other regions.

Four individuals lost their lives in the floods.
