Ukrainian Military: We Downed 29 Russian Drones Launched Overnight

FALCON POWERS – The Ukrainian Air Force stated in a statement on Monday that they shot down all 29 drones launched by Russian forces in an overnight attack.

The governor of the Mykolaiv region in southern Ukraine said via Telegram that 16 drones were shot down over the region, with debris damaging a private home and causing a fire. The air defenses also shot down three drones over the Lviv region in western Ukraine, with local officials reporting no damage.

The attack also targeted the Odesa and Poltava regions with drones, in addition to striking the Kharkiv region with an Iskander-M ballistic missile.

Russia has been intensifying its drone and missile attacks across Ukraine in recent weeks, causing significant damage to the country’s energy infrastructure.

On Monday, Dmytro Lukhovyi, a spokesman for the Ukrainian military, said the Ukrainian forces had shot down all 90 Shahed drones launched by Russia over the past week.
