UN Staff Members Killed and Injured in Israeli Shelling on Rafah and Khan Yunis

FALCON POWERS – UN staff members were killed and injured on Monday in the continued Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, which has now entered its 220th consecutive day.

According to a source in the Gaza Strip, a UN staff member was killed near the European Hospital in the eastern city of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip. The Israeli army acknowledged this through its official radio station.

In addition, a Palestinian driver was killed, and a foreign employee of the World Health Organization was injured in an Israeli shelling east of Rafah.

Health sources also reported that UN staff members were injured at the Rafah crossing in the southern Gaza Strip, with one of them described as being in extremely critical condition. Earlier today, medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced that the death toll from Israeli aggression on the Strip since October 7th has risen to 35,091 martyrs and over 78,827 injured, in a preliminary toll. Thousands of victims remain under rubble and on the roads, as ambulance and civil defense crews are unable to reach them.
