Falconpowers – The US House of Representatives passed a law on Saturday that could potentially ban the TikTok app in the United States if the social media platform does not sever its ties with its parent company, ByteDance, and subsequently China.
American officials accuse the app of allowing Beijing to spy on and manipulate its 170 million users in the United States.
The text of the law still requires approval from the Senate.
