US Police Arrest Dozens of Yale University Students over Solidarity Protests with Palestine

Falcon powers – US police officers arrested dozens of Yale University students on Monday following the establishment of a camp on campus in support of the Palestinian cause. This is one of several American universities where protests have been organized against the Israeli bloody war on Gaza and the US President Joe Biden’s support for Israeli terrorism.

The university’s student newspaper, Yale Daily News, reported that the protesters were in their third night of camping, urging Yale University to divest its investments from military weapons manufacturers used in the Israeli bloody war on Gaza.

The school newspaper, on its website, stated that officers gathered at the protest site in Pinkie Plaza shortly before 7 a.m. on Monday and were seen approaching the camp and “flipping tent entrances.”

The officers then issued a warning for students and journalists to leave or they would be arrested. Within minutes, the university newspaper reported on “X” that the police were arresting individuals.

Yale University stated in a statement on Monday that summonses had been issued for 47 students.
