FALCON POWERS – The medical system warned today, Wednesday, that hospitals, health centers, and the sole oxygen station in the Gaza governorate are at risk of shutting down due to a lack of fuel, amid the continued Israeli occupation’s aggression on the Gaza Strip and its control over the crossings.
It explained that this would expose the lives of dozens of patients and the wounded to death, in addition to the spoilage of medicines in the refrigerators, due to the inability to operate the generator that powers the oxygen station and the refrigerators for storing medicines.
It appealed to all concerned institutions, the United Nations, and humanitarian organizations to intervene quickly to introduce the necessary fuel, as well as the electrical generators and spare parts needed for maintenance. It indicated that kidney dialysis services in the Gaza governorate are also threatened with suspension due to the lack of fuel, in addition to the remaining ambulances ceasing to operate.
The toll of the aggression on Gaza has risen to 37,164 martyrs and 84,832 injuries since October 7, 2023.
