Washington Refuses to Acknowledge that “Israel” Used American Weapons in Deadly Raids on Displaced Persons’ Tents in Rafah

Falcon powers – The Biden administration on Wednesday refused to acknowledge that Israel used American bombs in the deadly raid that took place last weekend, which resulted in the martyrdom of dozens of Palestinian displaced persons in the Rafah camp.

CNN reported for the first time that remnants of the small-diameter American bomb GBU-39 (SDB) were found at the scene of the incident, according to four explosive weapons experts who reviewed the video shared on social media.

Weapons experts and the visual evidence reviewed by The New York Times also concluded that the bombs were of the GBU-39 type, which were designed and sold in the United States.

White House spokesman John Kirby told reporters on Wednesday: “We won’t get into the payload of individual Israeli aircraft.” “(The Israeli military) needs to speak to their conduct in this particular operation, and that would involve… a discussion of what was used.”

At least 45 people were killed and more than 240 others were injured after the Israeli military used its planes to bomb a camp for displaced persons in Rafah, and the majority of the martyrs were women and children, according to the Ministry of Health in Gaza.

Kirby added that Israel had previously publicly stated that it used precision-guided munitions with a payload of about 37 pounds, which, if true, “would certainly point to a desire to be more intentional and more precise in their targeting.”

When asked on Tuesday about the ammunition used in the Rafah raid, Pentagon press secretary Sabrina Singh told reporters: “I don’t know the type of munition used in that air strike. I’d have to refer you to the Israelis to speak to that.”

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on Wednesday that he could not verify whether Israel had used Washington-supplied weapons in its latest deadly attacks in Rafah.
