FALCON POWERS – The Al-Qassam Brigades have released footage of an operation they conducted in Khan Yunis, which they named “The Ambush of the Righteous,” targeting a group of Israeli soldiers and vehicles.
According to a statement by the Al-Qassam Brigades, the ambush was set up on the 27th of Ramadan (Saturday, April 6, 2024) from Point Zero in the Zanna area east of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip. The footage shows Al-Qassam fighters emerging from a tunnel in a destroyed building and opening fire on soldiers who were patrolling along the logistics road of the Israeli army in Khan Yunis.

Afterward, they withdrew back into the tunnel. The ambush resulted in the killing of four army personnel, including an officer. The footage also showed Al-Qassam Brigades preparing explosive devices at the ambush site east of Khan Yunis.
A senior source in the Al-Qassam Brigades stated that what is shown in the footage is just a part of the operation, and that there is much more that was not documented.
The Al-Qassam leader pointed out that based on intelligence information and intensive monitoring, “we identified the return route of the enemy’s soldiers and vehicles, and we prepared and set up this ambush for 50 days in the Zanna area.”
