US Police Raid Columbia University, Arrest Dozens of Gaza Genocide Protesters

Falcon powers – Police officers wearing neckties and riot gear stormed the building of Columbia University, occupied by protesters demonstrating against the genocide committed by Israel in Gaza.

They broke through the windows late Tuesday and arrested dozens of individuals.

The university administration accused the protesters of seizing the administrative building, known as Hamilton Hall, over 20 hours ago in a major escalation as demonstrations against the war on civilians in Gaza spread across university campuses nationwide.

A statement issued by a spokesperson for Columbia University stated that the officers entered the campus after the university requested assistance.

Tents had been set up on the school grounds for nearly two weeks to protest the Israeli genocide against Palestinians.

The university claimed, “After learning overnight that Hamilton Hall had been occupied, vandalized, and barricaded, we had no choice.”
